We are changing what it means to be blind
The National Federation of the Blind is the largest organization of blind people in the nation. We have affiliates in every state plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico with our national headquarters located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Our goals are numerous and relate specifically to the concerns of blind and visually impaired people.
The Federation offers scholarship programs both on the national as well as the state level. Thousands of dollars are awarded each year to qualified blind students.
