This exhibition booth will be to publicize a study conducted by researchers at the University of California, Davis. The study will be about how often people actually travel and want to travel locally, and what kinds of neighborhoods people actually live in and want to live in. It will highlight the challenges facing people who are blind or low-vision along with those who have physical or other disabilities so that policymakers in California can better serve the needs of people who face those challenges. The researchers will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss the study and answer visitors’ questions.

The study is made of a survey and two focus groups. The first focus group will happen in November, the second focus group will happen in December, and the survey will go out in February. This exhibition booth will be an opportunity for visitors to learn about and express interest in participating in the focus groups and survey and to suggest specific dates and times for the two focus groups.”
